Jason Statham Talks Expendables 3 + Fast & Furious 7

Big action slate coming up for Jason Statham, with The Expendables 3 and Fast & Furious 7.  Nobody can say he hasn’t earned it, he’s kept real action alive, or at least on life support, for over 10 years now.  Now he’s in France promoting Manly Movie Homefront (review) where he has been talking to premiere.fr about working with action legends.  Check out what he has to say below…

Mel Gibson , Harrison Ford , Wesley Snipes in Expendables 3 … Kurt Russell in Fast & Furious 7 (the film has since been pushed back to April 2015) … Me up on a shelf next to Snake Plissken is a childhood dream. I was like a crazy when he came to greet me on the first day of shooting. It is rare to find an actor of his stature who is also cool on screen and in life.

You must’ve had quite a few mind blowing moments in The Expendables 3…
 
There is one in particular that will remain etched in my memory: I was there in the helicopter piloted by Harrison Ford, surrounded by Jet Li , Antonio Banderas , Arnold Schwarzenegger with his cigar in his mouth, Dolph Lundgren… I want to go down to take a picture, it was just amazing. The director, Patrick Hughes, could not believe it himself. He turned to the team and asked every two seconds: “I’m dreaming, or see what is actually happening?”
 
You think there was enough testosterone in this helicopter?
 
I can not believe he managed to take off! (Laughter.)
