John Travolta Wants To Play A Bond Villain

A while back Sylvester Stallone hosted “An Audience With Sylvester Stallone” in the UK.  He basically sat in a couch in front of a live audience and discussed his career.

John Travolta, who turned 60 yesterday, recently did the same thing this past weekend on the exact same couch.  His event was called “A Conversation With John Travolta”.  In speaking with his audience, Travolta claims to have talked playing a villain with Barbara Broccoli in the next Bond movie:

“It’s the first time I’ve ever asked for a role, but I bumped into Barbara Broccoli at the Oscars last year and she offered it to me – mind you we’d both had a few drinks!”

A few drinks, that sounds about right.  I don’t think that’s going to happen, but it’s not all a bad outlook for Travolta.  Don’t forget he’s appearing in a new heist/robbery thriller this year (Forger) which looks like it might just be worth a look.

I’d still take Travolta as a Bond villain though, gotta admit…
