First Footage From Skin Trade With Lundgren + Tony Jaa

The first footage from Dolph Lundgren’s pet project ‘Skin Trade’ is online.  When Lundgren’s wife is killed by a sex-trafficking Serbian crime lord, Lundgren heads to Bangkok to track him down.

Tony Jaa will also star as a Thai detective out to help Lundgren.  The movie also stars Ron Perlman, Michael Jai White and Peter Weller.  I think justice could be really done to this movie if it was given a theatrical release, so let’s hope that that happens.

But if the first footage shown below is anything to go by I doubt it.  It’s being spread across YouTube as a ‘trailer’ but it actually looks only to be a montage.  For all the hype about Lundgren getting serious with a grown up thriller, this ‘Teaser Trailer’ (defined by the official Facebook page) is a disappointment.  Like a YouTube fan video, a bad one, with that hideous Photoshop at the end. 

I expected better.
