John Travolta & Ethan Hawke Team Up For Revenge Western

It’s always good to hear of a new western, or at least one that might not be shit.  Well there’s a new one in the pipeline starring both John Travolta and Ethan Hawke.  Even better, the movie is described by the HollywoodReporter as a revenge western.  You can’t go wrong with this combination surely.

Set in the 1890s, the movie will be produced by Jason Blume and will be written and directed by Ti West.  Also producing with Blum are West collaborators Jacob Jaffke and Peter Phok.

Is John Travolta about to come out with some ‘better’ movies than his recent efforts?  After all his last film shot, The Forger, doesn’t sound too bad either:  In “The Forger” Travolta will star alongside Christopher Plummer and Tye Sheridan in a story of a former child art prodigy, Ray Cutter (Travolta) who arranges to buy his way out of prison to spend time with his ailing son, Will Cutter (Sheridan). Cutter alongside his father, Joseph Cutter (Plummer), must work out a way to carry out one last big job for the mob who financed his early release.
