Some new material is online for upcoming tie-in/adaptation Alien: Isolation. The game is an ‘interquel’, set in 2137, 15 years after the events of Alien and 42 years before the events of Aliens. It focuses on Ellen Ripley’s daughter Amanda who, while investigating her mother’s disappearance, is ordered to go to the space station Sevastopol to recover data that could help locate her mother, unaware that an Alien has already infested the station.
As far as tie-ins go it literally cannot get worse than Rambo: The Video Game and probably will not be as bad as Aliens: Colonial Marines from the looks of things, but the ‘fail’ radar is still pinging noticeably with this one. Ripley’s daughter? Naw, man…
Anyway, below you can check out some new art/posters and footage.
