Second & Third Terminator Movies Being Shot Back To Back

Terminator: Genesis will start shooting on April 21st, that much we know.  It’ll be part of a new trilogy.  Now a new report claims that not only will Genesis shoot this year, but the other two movies as well, shooting back to back over nine months.

“Here is some more good news for fans: they have made first plans to shoot three installments to put this saga to rest. ‘The second and third films will be done back to back over nine months.”

However their statement my not be fully accurate, the original Deadline article says that only the second and third movies will be shot back to back.  So whether or not we’ll actually see three movies get filmed this year is still open for confirmation.  Looks like Metro were merely interpreting it as such, but they could well be right.

Anyway, it looks like Terminator: Genesis could be last chance saloon for Arnold.  He just came off yet another bomb and while they’re not going to cancel Terminator 5, they could well cancel Conan 3 and Triplets.  There’s also one more problem on the horizon – Maggie (2014).  Another low budget Arnie movie that won’t impress.  Our screenplay review was negative.
