Latest ’80s Reboot On The Agenda – War Games

Word comes to us of another 1980s reboot.  This time, the subject will be War Games.  You might remember the original… a technological thriller where Matthew Broderick initiates the beginnings of World War 3 from his bedroom.

Dean Israelite, director of the forthcoming “Project Almanac”, is on directing duties and Arash Amel (“Grace of Monaco”) is scripting but not much more than this is currently known.

I would hazard a guess that this movie will cover the very real problem of Chinese hacking, possibly?  The Chinese like to garner blueprints of all kinds, including American weaponry, by using highly trained round-the-clock hackers.  By the way I believe War Games was the first movie to ever feature a modem being used to hack a school computer…
