Hughes Talks PG-13, The Raid, R Blu-Ray

The Expendables 3 director Patrick Hughes has been talking about the movie this week.  In the video below he talks PG-13, 3.5 hour cut, R-rated Blu-Ray, The Raid remake and some other things.

Kudos to Collider for asking him tough questions right off the bat.  The questions they put to him are the most relevant.  In that sense it’s a good video, it’s not P.R. buffering.  You can tell from his reaction that Hughes indeed was a working director for Sylvester Stallone.  There’s a lot of ‘we’ talk in there, perhaps the line “Sly is always open to new ideas” reveals most.  Remember when Stallone was cast in Cliffhanger, Harlin would only agree to direct if it was his movie and he wasn’t a glorified ghost director.

I’m sure we’ll get an R-rated cut on Blu-Ray but I’m not sure how much it’s going to help.
