Arquette Joins Kurt Russell Western

Kurt Russell has two westerns upcoming.  One is The Hateful Eight, the other is Bone Tomahawk.  Now David Arquette has joined the cast of the latter.  Bone Tomahawk in particular is slated to have more of a horror slant.

Also appearing are Lili Simmons (“Banshee”), Sid Haig (“The Devil’s Rejects”), Kathryn Morris (TV’s “Cold Case”), and Evan Jonigkeit (TV’s “Girls”).

Simmons (True Detective) will play Samantha O’Dwyer, the de facto town doctor and dedicated wife Wilson’s character. Arquette (the Scream films) and Haig (The Devil’s Rejects) play a couple of filthy brigands whose actions set off a string of violent repercussions. Morris (Cold Case) will play the wife of Russell’s Sheriff Hunt, and Jonigkeit (Girls) will play a young deputy sheriff.

Of more interest though is Kurt Russell.  Good to see him in another western.
