Mel’s Secret Apocalypto Cameo

I am sure many missed this, the fact that Mel Gibson inserted a little joke into his masterpiece Apocalypto.

Sort of.

He made a cameo, but not in the movie itself.  If you’ve ever checked out the original teaser and happened to be doing a line at the time, you probably would have spotted Mel’s cameo, which lasts for one frame, where he is trolling while dressed in normal clothing and smoking a cigar.  What a genius!  Check it out in the teaser below.  It’s hard to miss, the uploader even slows down the footage so you can see it clearly.
