Terminator: Genisys Has Lost Its Balls, Literally

Our friends over at TheTerminatorFans have an interesting exclusive up today concerning Terminator: Genisys.  It seems that they’re really going to tone things down for this movie.  Schwarzenegger’s original T-800 is apparently going to get a ‘Ken Doll’ touch up, no private parts.

‘The Terminator’ has been castrated folks! He will now resemble a ‘Ken Doll’ (Barbie’s boyfriend). A source close to the production notified us of scenes and current plans for the Schwarzenegger Vs Schwarzenegger fight.

The full article can be read here.  On the one hand, nobody wants to see it.  On the other, it kind of adds further confirmation to what we all already suspect – family Transformers style action, suggested heavily in the screenplay and by Jai Courtney last year.  It adds a different problem.  In the other movies, the T-800 walks around naked three times, yet the witnesses see it as a normal human.  Women admire Schwarzenegger at the bar in Terminator 2, but if this Terminator showed up, the first thing they’d do is wonder why the dude has no ‘package’.

So they’re screwing with the fact that Terminator should be ‘R’ but also with established facts, reset timeline or not.
