Updated: What Do You Want Out Of ManlyMovie This Year?

Updated 2x: We’ve been getting around, slowly, to acting on feedback suggested for the site this year.  Some suggested dedicated categories for decades, which would include some of our favourites (specifically the 1980s and 1990s), those have been added under ‘Reviews’ in the menu.  Also under the ‘Reviews’ button is a list of reviews categeorized by score, from 0-10.  There won’t be many 10/10s, since its not in our ethos to polish turds around here.  0/10 has one movie, the abominable ‘The Bunker’ starring Ken Shamrock.  Not all reviews are added to these categories yet, it takes a while.  Also Pvt.Caboose91 has showed up again to chip in with the occasional review, to mix things up a little – variations are always good and he has been reviewing movies a lot longer than me.

Another update is within the comments section.  It wasn’t working last night, it is now.  It was suggested to me to open the comments section for guests, which to be honest didn’t even occur to me.  It wasn’t deliberately turned off, I just happened to come across the ability to turn that option on while using the Disqus control panel this morning.

Finally, any other feedback is encouraged.

Updated: The most asked for feature thus far is a return on a forum.  I’ve relaunched the forum, you can find it here and at the nav bar at the top.

It is a new year for all including ManlyMovie.

Some changes are planned, some might go ahead, some might not.  We’re asking for feedback today on what should be changed in 2015, especially looking for feedback from our regular readers and long term supporters.  Does something need to go?  Does something need to arrive?  Is something shit?  Or does anyone have any ambitious ideas for improvements?

Some said to me last year that as administrator I need to tone it down, to stop being as harsh etc.  Thought about it, nope.  It would assuredly open more doors, but the last thing the net needs is another score-buffering amen-corner site, amirite?

Anyway, give us some feedback.  Do you want some fresh coffee?  A new car with leather seats and really shitty gas mileage?  We’ll see what we can do about cruise control.
