EXCLUSIVE: Gerard Butler Prepares For Month-Long Action Filming

The sequel to the manliest movie of 2013 continues to film, of course, that’s London Has Fallen, sequel to Olympus Has Fallen.  Filming is split between Bulgaria and London itself, as we exclusively reported previously here and here.  This weekend we learn from one of our contributors that commences in earnest in Bulgaria.

Gerard Butler, Angela Bassett and Aaron Eckhart arrived on the ground at the weekend.  They’re about to begin filming action scenes for a full month, starting right now as I’m typing this.  So their work there is going to be all business.  Sets have long since been built for these scenes.  London Has Fallen has a healthy budget and is almost certainly R-rated.

In London for the Prime Minister’s funeral, Mike Banning discovers a plot to assassinate all the attending world leaders.  The movie is released October 2nd.  Hope to keep readers updated with more on this.
