“Motorcade” Is An Upcoming Chase ‘Em Up

Fans of shit getting blown up real good might want to keep an eye out for this one.  Joe Carnahan is writing and directing action thriller “Motorcade”, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The long-in-the-works film hails from DreamWorks and producers Walter Parkers and Laurie MacDonald, and tells of a Secret Service agent who fails to prevent an attack that occurs on the president of the United States and his motorcade.  Sounds like Olympus Has Fallen on the road no?

The studio picked the film up as a pitch back in 2004. At one point Joe Cassar of “24” fame was pegged to direct.  No word yet on who might be starring but I would wager than since this is Joe Carnahan, perhaps Liam Neeson might be Mr. President?  Anyone miss the good old days when the President himself in action movies started gunning down enemies with machine guns?!
