Tatum To Lead All Male Ghostbusters?

I suppose you’ve all heard about the ‘all female’ Ghostbusters reboot, sequel, spin-off, sequelboot.  Whatever.  Aside from the cast of that movie being total shit, it’s obviously going to fail anyway, and I don’t get why ‘statemenet’ movies like that have to be made.  Is feminism that big of a thing now?  In the original, they had a strong female co-lead, wasnt that enough?

Anyway, word comes now that an all-male version is on the horizon with Channing Tatum leading.  Directors Joe and Anthony Russo are said to be looking at potentially helming and producing , Iron Man 3 and Mission: Impossible 5 scribe Drew Pearce will write it, and Channing Tatum will produce.

Also, according to Ivan Reitman, it won’t end there…

“We want to expand the Ghostbusters universe in ways that will include different films, TV shows, merchandise, all things that are part of modern filmed entertainment. This is a branded entertainment.”

Gee Ivan, why not just say we want to milk this thing to death and get even richer?
