Schwarzenegger: Terminator Salvation ‘Sucked’

Arnold Schwarzenegger was not in Terminator: Salvation.  Unless you count the CGI ‘throwminator’ (by that, I mean Terminator’s no longer seem to want to Terminate, and throwing will return in Genisys, according to the leaked script), which appeared at the end.

A lot of people didn’t like Salvation, and Schwarzenegger was among those lambasting the movie, telling U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America, “Thank God (I wasn’t in it). It sucked!”

Some people are conflicted about which is the ‘worst’ Terminator thus far.  Some think T3 is ‘least worst’ due to being R-rated, while others can tolerate Salvation more easily, because there is no camp humor.  Me, if forced to watch one of the two, it would be Salvation.  I also recall shortly before Terminator: Salvation came out Schwarzenegger critisized Salvation heavily for its use of CGI.

I’m kinda pissed at Schwarzenegger for this comment.  It’s not that I like Salvation, it’s that Schwarzenegger has some balls critisizing it despite appearing in something even worse, with Genisys.  And all because he wasn’t in Salvation?  Because that’s probably his only real beef with that movie.  Schwarzenegger doesn’t care if his movies suck, he cares if they’re successful.

Apparently, whether the fans are actually satisfied isn’t really on the agenda.  Unless of course there’s a book to sell, where he’ll boast about turning down PG-13 Terminator movies.  Hm…
