We will get our first look at Terminator: Genisys in 3D a bit sooner before release, according to an exclusive update from our friends over at TheTerminatorFans.com, the trailer for the movie will be attached in 3D to The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
On April 16, 2015, a source close to the production of Terminator Genisys informed us that the recently released Terminator trailer unlocked via #TerminatorUnlock will be attached to the theatrical release of Avengers: Age of Ultron. As previously reported by TheTerminatorFans.com the trailer would undergo a 3D conversion meaning that this will be the first trailer fans will see and have a glimpse of the 3D scenes in the movie (if you view Age of Ultron in 3D).
Of course as mentioned, you’ll have to see the latter in 3D too. On a personal note, I haven’t watched a 3D movie in… shit, I can’t remember when. I think it was World War Z on Blu-Ray, which I actually reverted to 2D because I thought it was superior.
That said, 3D can work. And when it does it’s spectacular. 3D Blu-Ray in 1080p active, if the movie has been done right (like Avatar) is definitely, in my opinion, peering into the future.
