Well, The Equalizer 2 Is On The Way

Need help?  Odds against you?  Then call The Equalizer, again.

Sony is making a sequel to their successful R-rated reboot of The Equalizer, starring Denzel Washington.  Although beyond that practically nothing else is known. We’re also not sure if director Antoine Fuqua is set to return, so stay tuned for details.

The 2014 film was based on the 1980s TV series and raked in $192 million globally.  Honestly speaking however, I found the first movie to be average.  A big problem I had was Washington’s Equalizer was invulnerable to anything and everything.  That might work in a Charles Bronson movie, or something lie Commando, but not here.

A potent baddie could help things out in the sequel.  I mean a real villain.
