Set Photos: Tom Cruise In 1980s Thriller “Mena”

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation is not yet out but that still does not mean that workaholic Tom Cruise is not busy.  Right now before getting down to serious promotion for the former, he is busy filming for upcoming 1980s thriller “Mena”.

Mena is an upcoming drug thriller movie directed by Doug Liman and written by Gary Spinelli, about the life of Barry Seal, a former TWA pilot who became a drug smuggler in the 1980s and who was recruited later on by the DEA to provide intelligence.  The film is set to be released on January 6, 2017.

Tom Cruise supposedly put on extra weight to fill out for the character.  Sounds like an interesting project.
