Poll: Should Rambo Die In Last Blood?

So it looks like Rambo V (rumoured to be subtitled ‘Last Blood’) is going ahead.  Given that Sylvester Stallone is getting up there in years, maybe it could be his last real action movie.  Maybe it could be to him what Unforgiven was to Clint Eastwood?  Nobody can beat the clock.

Anyway, I wonder if Stallone is planning to kill old John. J. off and if the title ‘Last Blood’ speaks of anything?  Should he kill Rambo off, perhaps in a blaze of glory?

I’m starting to find value in the idea.  Because in this day and age, every action movie is compromised with some sort of ground work for some type of sequel or spin off, with some cliffhanger.  This cheapens things.  I think it would be manly for Rambo to walk off the stage in an era where doors are left open far too often.

But it would have to be done correctly.  Rambo needs to go in a blaze of glory and I don’t know if I’m happy with him meeting his end at the hands of some (rumoured) pissant cartel members.  But who knows, maybe Stallone has something cooking that could work.
