Larter Insists Resident Evil 6 Really Is Last One

There will be a new Resident Evil movie headed our way January 2017.  Sadly, another one of those horrific (for the wrong reasons) sequels spawned by serial butcher Paul W.S. Anderson.  But if you recall before, several other entries in this series were touted as the ‘last ones’ like this one is.  Real fans of the subject matter are hoping that they don’t pull another swerve like that again.  It won’t happen though according to Ali Larter.

The actress has double confirmed the truthiness of the title (the final chapter) to IGN, explaining that the sixth film in the post-apocalyptic cycle is indeed the last.

“I know it is,” said Larter of the finality of “The Final Chapter.” “We are not allowed to say one thing. I am held to secrecy, but what I can tell you is that the script is amazing. They’re really wrapping up the whole series, so that just makes it a little more poignant. To be able to come back and reprise my role as Claire and my relationship with Alice, with Umbrella Corp. — you know, I’m excited to get back in it. I think the fans are just going to be beyond excited.”

Well, we really need to be put out of our misery.  Now, with that said, observe the following video.  It sounds like Joe Cox (from RoboCop) is watching a Bill Murray movie.
