Liam Neeson is set to star as U.S. Army General Douglas MacArthur in John H. Lee’s South Korean war film Operation Chromite according to Deadline.
The plot will cover the Battle of Incheon, a key battle of the Korean War in 1950 in which United Nations forces launched a surprise attack against communist North Korean forces.
The movie will follow a group of Korean soldiers taking part in the battle, but no other cast has been announced yet. Lee Man-Hee (71: Into The Fire) penned the script and filming begins at the end of the year ahead of a mid-2016 release.
