Vin Diesel Says xXx Sequel Films This December
I had almost forgotten that this film series even existed. I do remember when it started though, back in 2001 when they were hyping it (the first came out in 2002). They were trying to consolidate Vin Diesel’s breakthrough from The Fast & the Furious and also capitalize on the fact that Bond had stagnated (stagnated badly) by introducing a ’21st Century Sports Bond’… or something.
Anyway, a third movie, or a second movie starring Vin Diesel (sorry, Ice Cube) is apparently going to begin production this winter. Vin Diesel shared the following on Instagram, I wonder if he jelly about The Rock being the People’s Champ of that wing of social media?
‘While I was filming XXX, guys on set called me Air Diesel… The time to return has come. Filming starts December in the Philippines.’
