Here is why South Park still has it. If you find the growing atmosphere is political correctness, ‘triggers’ and ‘microagressions’ all just a bit too stifling, you might find humour in the debut of season 19.

South Park Elementary is introduced to a new character: PC Principal, a school administrator ‘sick and tired of how minority groups are marginalized in today’s society’. You’ve seen, or heard, this guy before. And so have the writers, apparently.

‘I’m here because this place is lost in a time warp!’ the principal screams at students. ‘Like it or not, PC is back and it’s bigger than ever!’ Kudos to South Park for retaining its balls, so to speak, and going there.
