Eddie Murphy Shooting Movie For Netflix

Eddie Murphy may not be making Beverly Hills Cop 4 now, they seem to have quietly nixed it.  So what else is on the cards?  Well producer Brian Grazer has revealed that he and Murphy are teaming to do a film for Netflix.

Speaking with Bloomberg, Grazer said: “I’m going to do a movie with Netflix. I’m going to do a tour-de-force movie that’s cinema verite with Eddie Murphy being as raw as he can be.”

Grazer also confirmed that a fifth season of “Arrested Development” is still in the works for Netflix: “The way they [Netflix] govern their creativity is exceptional. They believe that if they like the idea and the foundational elements, you’re just off to do what you believe in, and they trust it. And it’s been working for them.”

What we really, really want to see however is a third hard-R 48 Hrs movie.  With Walter Hill directing.  Nick Nolte even had a plan for that.
