Back in 1992, Steven Seagal was busy promoting his biggest movie ever (probably literally in his career at this stage) in Under Siege. That included heading to Europe for some promotional work.
In the video above you can see a rare appearance of Seagal on Italian television.
The video is kind of odd, awkward and funny. The host asks Steven Seagal, who looks like he really does not want to be there, if he speaks Italian. Yes, says the Sensei, who clearly can’t speak a lick of Italian nor understand a damned thing. He then asks Seagal, who has an Irish mother and Jewish father, if he is Italian.
Yes, says Master Seagal. An Italian mother and also a Russian father. French, too. Of course, Seagal could’ve hosted this entire thing himself. Such a man does not need an introduction and those pissants who banned him from SNL just didn’t know a good thing when it hit them!
