Oldman Joins Reynolds In ‘Hitman’s Bodyguard’

Most people would cite Gary Oldman as literally one of the best actors out there.  And a Mel Gibson defender to boot. Although Ryan Reynolds might not be in his league, he’s going to star with Oldman alongside Samuel L. Jackson in the upcoming thriller ‘Hitman’s Bodyguard’.

The film centers on the world’s top protection agent (Reynolds) who has a new client: a hit man who has come in from the cold. They’ve been on opposite ends of a bullet for years and hate one another. Now they’re stuck together and have 24 hours to get to the Hague.

The film is produced by Mark Gill, John Thompson, Matt O’Toole and Les Weldon with Avi Lerner, Trevor Short, Boaz Davidson, Christine Otal, Jason Bloom, Christa Campbell and Lati Grobman all executive producing. Renyolds will appear in the February release of Deadpool for Fox prior to his starring role next to Oldman in Ariel Vromen’s Criminal on April 15 for Lionsgate.
