Gibson Talks Directing WW2 Movie

Here’s a five minute video with Mel Gibson, where he talks directing ‘Hacksaw Ridge’, acting, and other things.  And it’s good to see there is no mention of his ‘controversial’ past as he’s introduced Australians have more respect than some people it would seem.

Rachel Griffiths, Teresa Palmer, Richard Roxburgh and Luke Bracey have been confirmed in the cast joining The Social Network’s Andrew Garfield and Vince Vaughn also star.

‘There is already incredible camaraderie between the cast’ said director Mel Gibson whilst recently speaking on set.  The film will have a budget of $45 million, which is not to be sniffed at.  Hugo Weaving also recently joined the cast.  Mel’s next movie as an actor is Blood Father, also out in 2016 and also going theatrical.
