Independence Day: Resurgence Trailer Debut

This is sort of a big one. I said to someone recently that one of the single biggest cinematic experiences I’d ever sat through was Independence Day. So after only 20 years we’re getting a sequel and damnit, here’s the first trailer. It sounds potentially amazing… old E.T. got his ass kicked in the ‘War of 1996’ then sent a distress signal. Now the cavalry is coming and that just begs the question, what kind of force are they going to send to get medieval?
