Kathryn Bigelow To Handle Riot Thriller

Kathryn Bigelow is a fine looking woman, you can see why Jim Cameron claimed her back in the day.  Anyway. the only director of Point Break, Kathryn Bigelow, is set to head back into thriller territory.

The film is described as a ‘crime thriller’ which will be set during the 1967 Detroit riots.  The aim by Annapurna Pictures is to have the thing released in 2017 in time for the 50th anniversary of that time.

Bigelow, Mark Boal, Megan Ellison and Matthew Budman will produce. Casting begins in March ahead of a shoot starting this Summer.  Boal also penned the script for this movie.
