Arnold Turned Down Predator 2 On Predator 1 Set

You find some new stuff on Predator every now and again, even the smallest piece of info is cool to find on one of the best movies of all time.  This video is from a few weeks back and what is revealed by Jesse Ventura is news to me.

About halfway through he says that they came to Arnold on the set of Predator and offered him $14 million on the spot to do Predator 2, before the first movie was even released.  Arnold turned it down.

Probably a smart move at the time (a mistake I think to never have returned to the series) from his point of view.  He was already a millionaire, at the very least he could have negotiated such a deal upwards, if they were coming at him like that.

I wonder if Schwarzenegger could still pull it off, if they did the new movie with him very soon.  What do you say…?
