If you’ve got a WW2 movie, I’ll take it. Doubly so if Jackie Chan is involved in a sub-genre that doesn’t see the light of day too much, at least in the west – the Sino-Japanese conflict.
Below is artwork for Jackie Chan’s upcoming ‘Railroad Tigers’. Synopsis: ‘A railroad worker in China in 1941 leads a team of freedom fighters against the Japanese in order to get food for the poor.’
Sadly the film is listed as a comedy, so we’re not going to see Chan in a good old fashioned serious WW2 epic it seems. I would have liked to have seen him in a serious WW2 actioner/epic, guns blazing and all the rest of it. Oh well, it’s still one to look at.
