An Update On Missing Predator 2 Footage

The holy grail of unseen action movie cuts is probably the work print of Predator 2.  Some might say it will never surface, but if The Exorcist III Legion version can be found and put on Blu-Ray (this year!) we can say that stranger things have happened.

In the meantime this blog dedicated to covering Predator 2 has some new and unseen snippets from the movie.  See a selection below;

We don’t know in detail what was cut, but according to director Stephen Hopkins the movie was recut over 20  times and each time the MPAA rated it R-Nc 17.
But we know some of it: A lot of gory cuts and closer shots during the predator hunt (Columbians, Jamaicans Jerry Lambert’s spinal column ripping…)

In one of the trailers you can see a quick shot of the Voodoo Posse bald guy being
thrown away with the spear.In the final cut of the movie he was just pierced.
