Hill To Direct Drama ‘Mid-90s’

This one is interesting to me if only because of the time period it is set in.  Jonah Hill will write and direct (but not star in) ‘Mid-90s’, a coming of age drama set in that decade.

The story follows a young boy coming up in Los Angeles in the mid-1990s learning life lessons with his crew of friends.  It kind of gives you flashbacks, if you’re of a certain age, hopefully it will be nostalgia laden with plenty of descriptors – Saturn vs. PS1, Pamela Anderson, Van Damme movies etc.

A24 is expected to produce and potentially distribute.
