Fascinating Brian Thompson Cobra Interview

I don’t think that this has ever been posted here, but I do remember it, so here it is.

It is an interview with Brian Thompson, otherwise known as the Night Slasher in manly classic Cobra. Movie Geeks United discuss the movie with cinematographer Ric Waite and Thompson.

But it’s Thompson’s words which are most interesting.  By all accounts, Thompson was an aspiring college educated thespian who was convinced by Sylvester Stallone that he was boarding a cool, classy, psychological thriller.  Only to find out that he was in, well, a Sylvester Stallone action movie.  Where the script would sit around collecting dust and it sounded like people generally had a big fuckin’ fun party.

It’s kinda funny when you listen to it.  But why all the dislikes?  That you, Stallone cultists?  Upset about Thompson’s opinion of the ‘work etiquette’?  Hahahahaha….
