Lethal Weapon Ordered To Full Series

TV series adaptations of “The Exorcist” and “Lethal Weapon” franchise have been ordered to series by FOX as the network locks down its 2016-17 schedule.

This pretty much confirms earlier stories about these shows being put to the small screen.  Other series such as The Terminator, Rambo and The Expendables are all being talked about.  The Lethal Weapon show in particular stars Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford as Roger Murtaugh and Martin Riggs respectively.  Jordana Brewster also stars.

I’ve been hearing bad things about the pilot, which has been witnessed by a few people.  Apparently it’s a little slower and melodramatic than you might expect for a show about those Richard Donner movies.  I’m not surprised.  This doesn’t come from fans of the movies by the way, rather TV pilot fans.

While I’m opposed Lethal Weapon getting this treatment, I’m more open to something for The Exorcist, but not if it’s getting slighted too…
