Looks Like We’re Getting An Escape Plan Sequel

Escape Plan was easily Arnold Schwarzenegger’s best ‘return’ movie, although I don’t know if the same can be said for Sylvester Stallone – Rambo IV will not be beaten so easily.

But so good was Escape Plan, we are apparently getting a sequel.  Lions Gate is apparently looking to shoot a second movie according to TheHollywoodReporter.

Leomus and Lionsgate also are exploring the possibility of producing Escape Plan 2 as a China co-production.

Not much to go on, but it sounds like it might avoid DTV territory.  Ideally Stallone would return to test the new prison or something but don’t expect either of the big names to return, that would be my bet.
