Trailer: Arrival (2016)

If you’re kind of disappointed in Independence Day: Resurgence, maybe this movie will be a bit better when it comes to E.T. doing some trespassing.  The above is the trailer for ‘Arrival’.

In the movie, when alien crafts land across the world, a linguist expert (Amy Adams) is recruited by the military to determine whether they come in peace or are a threat.  The film was directed by Denis Villeneuve and will also star Forest Whitaker and Jeremy Renner.

I believe this has a November release date.

Just to show how poorly I know my 1990’s movies, this movie is kind of a successor and/or remake of a 1996 movie starring Charlie Sheen that I wasn’t even aware of, ‘The Arrival’ sees Sheen get in touch with spacelings too.  It even had a PC video game.  It was directed by David Twohy, anyone know if that is any good?
