Bond’s Replacement Down To Eight Names

No surprises here, they’re making a new Bond movie, now that Daniel Craig has hung up the tuxedo. But who is the new man going to be?

The current shortlist is said to be Idris Elba, Michael Fassbender, Luke Evans, Charlie Hunnam, Aidan Turner and Tom Hiddleston. EON Productions franchise boss Barbara Broccoli, who is the one who ultimately makes the decision on the role, is also meeting with James Norton and Jamie Bell.

There are some surprises on there.  But remember, Charlie Hunnam is English.  I wonder if some people have never seen Hunnam in a role where he’s using his own accent.

What they really need to do is get rid of the screenwriters.  Recent Bond movies have been snorefests if you ask me, I can’t even remember what the hell the last one was about.
