Heat (1995) Headed To 4K UHD, A New Q&A With Cast

There’s some good news for the greatest movie of all time.  First of all, check out the interviews below with Robert De Niro, Michael Mann and Al Pacino.  Christopher Nolan hosts these guys and others and we get a good discussion going about the movie, the making of it etc.

It’s funny that this stuff is probably better than anything Robert De Niro or Al Pacino has done for years.

Speaking of Heat, the movie is also being restored;

The Academy celebrates Michael Mann’s Heat on the big screen with a new 4K restoration and Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Michael Mann and other cast and crew in a conversation moderated by Christopher Nolan.

Format: Heat will be presented in a new 4K DCP, restored by Stefan Sonnenfeld (Company 3) and Michael Mann.

And apparently it’s a very good print at that;

The 4k Blu-ray of HEAT is one of the greatest audio visual restorations I have seen/heard.
Should arrive this fall.

Now a 4k Blu-Ray restoration doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s headed to UHD as well, but I would say that it’s highly like.  So it’s going to be really good to see and hear Heat in 4k UHD/HDR/7.1.  Check out the new videos below.
