Resident Evil: Vendetta Trailer Puts Movies To Shame

Here’s the trailer (below) to Resident Evil: Vendetta.  If you’e an RE purist like me, being raised on the old ‘tank control’ games, then this could prove to be refreshing.  While it’s not a live action feature and it’s only CGI, it seems to give a closer nod to the series’ roots than any recent game or movie from the franchise.

We have a brooding mansion, STARS and of course, regular zombies.  CAPCOM, is this so hard for you?

Set between the events of “Resident Evil 6” and the upcoming seventh game, the film will feature characters from the series including Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers.

The project is written by Makoto Fukami (“Psycho-Pass”) and directed by Takanori Tsujimoto (“ltraman X”) and marks the third CG animated “Resident Evil” film made following 2008’s “Resident Evil: Degeneration” and 2012’s “Resident Evil: Damnation”.
