Knight Rider Getting Reboot Treatment

They’re rebooting Knight Rider again.  But you know, this isn’t the first time they’ve tried to get it back off the ground.  The first attempt was Knight Rider 3000, a 1991 movie starring David Hasslehoff.  The second attempt was Knight Rider 2010, a 1994 feature that kind of blends the original theme with Mad Max.

The third attempt and possibly the worst was Team Knight Rider in 1997.  Then another shot with Knight Rider in 2008.

Now, Fast Five director Justin Lin is being tasked with producing the latest effort.  NBCUniversal Brand Development and YOMYOMF (YouOffendMeYouOffendMyFamily) are looking for a ‘digitized’ series to potentially air in late 2017.

The real question is, will we see cameos from The Hoff or maybe even K.A.R.R.?!
