UPDATED: Stallone Pulls Out Of Revenge Thriller

UPDATED: Well, it looks like this one is over, for Stallone at least.  He has pulled out of the movie two weeks before it was due to shoot, Deadline reported.  So that’s both Stallone and De Niro who have abandoned this project. Maybe there’s something rotten about it…

PREVIOUSLY: There may be no word on The Expendables 4 (just yet) but it looks like Sylvester Stallone is headed down a type of Blood Father/Bronson route.  Out of the blue comes news that he’s filming Godforsaken next month.  This is what Coosavalleynews.com has to say;

A feature film currently titled “Godforsaken” will be filming scenes in Downtown Cartersville next month. According to WBHF in Cartersville, City of Cartersville police officers will be on hand to ensure that the film crew is abiding by the city filming rules and perform intermittent traffic control to make sure traffic is impeded as little as possible. The film crew says they will be mindful of the concerns of the community and will do whatever they can to keep their impact to a minimum.

The film is still in the early stages of development. Deadline Hollywood reports that the movie is about an ex-felon played by Sylvester Stallone who avenges his son’s death and must now also protect the only family he has remaining.

Sounds good to me!  Filming next month, eh?  Maybe we’ll even have a Christmas theme.  Hopefully we could see some more of this;
