Goldberg Is Back In Action In New ‘Check Point’ Trailer

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Bill Goldberg in a movie, I think his last movie may have been a role in Half Past Dead 2.  Now though he’s getting his first leading role in an action movie.  Check Point gets a new trailer and you can check it out above.  The movie is playing now in theatres, with a March schedule for VOD and DVD.

Synopsis: A Political Action Thriller set and filmed in North Carolina, Check Point follows a local vagrant (Johnson) who discovers a  ‘sleeper cell’ home-grown Terrorist plot in a small town where everyone knows each other, or so they thought. With the help of his best friend (Goldberg), he must gather a team of unlikely heroes to rise up to protect their country.  In Ricky Harris’ last film role, the late actor played a former U.S. Army veteran who helps foil the plot to attack the U.S. government. The film touches on difficult topics, such as war veterans and PTSD.
