First Pic From ‘The Predator’

Here is the first promo shot from Shane Black’s The Predator, uploaded by Black himself.  Allow me to put my cynic’s hat on, but it’s not doing much for me.  Mac and Blain look like they could kill these people with their bare hands and come out without a scratch.

Can we talk about the kid?  He’s out of place, this is worse if you’ve picked up on the stuff outlined by the leaked story and script.  I’m definitely worried.

I suppose there’s an upside.  Shane Black also put the following Tweets out.  It’s nice to see him denounce PG-13 (in movies that don’t need it) and he’s also kind of hinting that it’s a sequel again, despite Boyd Holbrook saying the opposite recently.

And, just to be clear… PG-13 is for pussies. Spines bleed… a lot.
