POLL: Thomas Jane; Manly Man Or Girlie Man?

I wonder what the consensus here is on Thomas Jane (A.K.A. ‘That guy who looks like Christopher Lambert’). Is he a movie screen manly man or girlie man?

This dude seems to show up every now and again in rumours about certain movies.  I think he was strongly rumoured for at least two Expendables movies, was expected to appear in Bullet to the Head (we’re going to look further into that in an article coming soon) before being axed and now, even if it’s not going to be good (doesn’t look so!) he’s appearing in The Predator.

Of course, Jane’s defining role was probably in The Punisher and its follow up short film.  Oddly the movie was panned by most, with a lowly RT rating etc.  One site that did get it right (in my opinion) was AintItCool, who celebrated the movie as being closer to Don Siegel and John Frankenheimer’s work than the kitsch crap we see today.

So what about Jane, manly man or girlie man?
