Dolph Joins Big Comic Movie

Will this be Dolph Lundgren’s biggest movie in years, or even decades?  He has joined James Wan’s Aquaman movie at Warner Bros. Pictures.

The film stars Jason Momoa as the title character, while also supposedly starring Amber Heard as Mera, Nicole Kidman as Aquaman’s mother, Patrick Wilson as villainous half-brother Orm, Willem Dafoe is Aquaman’s adviser, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is classic villain Black Manta, and Temuera Morrison is Aquaman’s father.

Lundgren will play King Nereus, I have no idea who that is, but I guess since he’s a King, he must be kind of important.  The May production starts in Australia.

Good for Dolph I guess.  So with Sylvester Stallone appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Dolph appearing in this, it looks like those comic properties are poaching our actors and making them less… Expendable, eh?
