UPDATED: It looks like Sylvester Stallone may still be open to filming this movie. Well, his comment may be a little casual, but check out the video below.
PREVIOUSLY: Sylvester Stallone has dropped out of The Expendables 4.
Deadline revealed the news of the exit, saying it came down to Stallone and Nu Image/Millennium chief Avi Lerner not agreeing over various aspects of the film from director to script to visual effects.
Stallone and Lerner have quarrelled before, but the pair often eventually worked it out, but that doesn’t seem to be the case this time around. Lerner acknowledged the differences to the outlet but isn’t willing to give up yet:
“We’ve got disagreements with Sly, but we’ve had them for over a year and a half. Right now, each one has opinion. We agreed on 95% of things, but there are certain things in production we don’t agree on. I don’t think it’s over, but what write whatever you want. In my opinion, it’s not dead.”
Stallone was supposed to earn a pay day of a staggering $20 million, his largest up front deal ever. Is that the source of the problem, or is Stallone pissed with Lerner cutting corners?
