Suspect Creed II Artwork Goes Viral
One of the things about films like this is that certain people will always cook up the ‘poster’ in Microsoft Paint. And it’s always Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger fanboys. Now, all of the big sites across the internet are showing the ‘poster’ for Creed II. Here it is;
I’d be surprised if this was the poster for Creed II. In fact, I would guess, somebody owns that imagery of Florian Munteanu. If that’s the case, using it for promotion (intentionally or otherwise) for something like that is tempting a lawsuit — this is actually why I haven’t uploaded the image locally, it looks like a fitness photo shoot or something. The Dolph Lundgren hoodie image is also familiar. Anyway, now as far as half the internet is concerned, this is the poster for Creed II. Hell maybe it is.
But don’t be surprised if it isn’t. Because here’s a recent ‘poster’ for the movie, also shared by Sylvester Stallone.
Another fine MS Paint job by some cultist. I remember this kind of thing for one or both of the first two Expendables movies. Certain people would cook up trashy ‘posters’, email their ‘work’ to every site in existence as news, then occasionally some of the big sites would pick it up and run with it, harming promotion.
The real question though is, where is Stallone getting these from? Surely, it couldn’t be, that Stallone himself is doing these?!
