There is some news on The Expendables 4 and Rambo V.
Chinese exhibition giant Dadi has pre-bought mainland China distribution rights to the Sylvester Stallone-fronted action sequels from Avi Lerner’s Millenium Media, according to Deadline.
So with preliminary posters and a rumored September start date for Rambo, it looks like these films are still on the radar.
The sale went comfortably into eight-figures and essentially constitutes a co-finance agreement on the movies. The Cannes pact was negotiated by Millennium’s President Jeffrey Greenstein and Co-President Jonathan Yunger, and Executive Vice President Yu Yusan and Producer Allen V. Dam on behalf of Dadi’s distribution arm Dadi Film Distribution Co.
I know this has been said inexhaustibly, but either make EX4 dark and bad, or don’t bother. Make a film from 1990. Get Paul Verhoeven and order him some squibs.
Elsewhere, it seems that Jet Li is not doing too good.
So, apparently, Jet Li is suffering from "hyperthyroidism and spinal problems" and this is him now ❤️😓: pic.twitter.com/Ss0W2EL96D

Li revealed in 2013 that he was suffering from hyperthyroidism as well as a heart condition. Quoting his doctor, Li said at the time that he could “either continue making [action] films or spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair.”
Good luck, Jet!
